July 14th while sitting at the receptionist desk daydreaming…

Craving the sun, outdoors, hiking, picnics, Karber BBQ’s, homemade ice-cream, laying out in the sun, pretty views, boat rides, island hopping, shopping with my aunts, and family vacations.

Wish I could be in Winthrop floating the river, at Boulevard walking the boardwalk, in Kirkland jumping off the dock, at Larabee climbing around rocks, at Snoqualmie Falls enjoying the mist from the waterfall, or at the Lynden antique tractor show listening to motors rumble and remembering my childhood.

If I could eat anything right now it would be a real hand dipped corn corn-dog from the booth at the fair, yogurt ice cream with fresh fruit, or mom’s mashed potatoes :)

People I miss terribly include my grandpa Karber, my best friends Kristin, Shay, Nikki, and Sonder. I miss Adam and my niece and nephews during the week. I miss getting everyone together every other weekend. I miss my extended family on the Hawkinson and Karber side. I miss my grandpa Crum in Illinois and I miss my grandma’s and spending more time with them. I miss evening dinners with my parents and brothers, playing in my grandparents back yard with all of my cousins.

the begining of an end

First week of my last quarter...

BITTERSWEET!

I know I am going to enjoy my classes and I am looking forward to everything that is going to take place this quarter, however, to END my college career seems unreal to me. I am not anticipating the reality check that I am going to get in the next few months so bare with me, my friends...its going to be a rough ride.

let's....Get r' done! :)

My favorite place to pray

My Favorite Place to Pray

My garden is a peaceful place
Where I can go to slow my pace.
There while digging in the sod
I seek direction from my God.

No problem is to big or small;
He listens to them, one and all.
I always know I’ll find Him there
To comfort me and hear my prayer.

I often run a little late,
But lovingly He always waits
To share my joy and hear my cares
In my lovely place of prayer.

We talk a lot, my God and I;
He lets me laugh, He lets me cry.
And when I don’t know where to start,
It’s then He listens to my heart.
